Visit at Residelca
2022-03-21Wonderful visit with my Belgian-Spanish friends in Alhaurin El Grande at Finca Residelca. We go back at least 22 years. Connected through our love for the Spanish horse. Sylvia Tonnaer and her son Francisco de Roij Tonnaer are successfully breeding Carthusian horses, the purest line of the Pura Raza Española horse with all the most desirable characteristics. They are equally ambitious and successful in producing some of the finest olive oil in Europe. The Residelca organic olive oil received a silver medal in 2020. Sylvia prepared an olive oil tasting afternoon which just blew me away. The flavor is absolutely exquisite! All it takes is a piece of bread dipped in oil and you are in gourmet heaven.
